The chance to get your hands on Google Glass

Nearly a year ago Google decided it would completely revolutionise technology by releasing its vision for Project Glass and ever since has been offering teaser features and announcements to generate what has been a real buzz of interest around the idea.

This time Google have released a short clip, which allows tech enthusiasts to see the product working in everyday situations. The company have also decided to increase pre-orders and give its eager customers the chance to get their hands on a set.

Google are yet to announce how many Glass units they will be handing out to non-developers but it is obvious that it will be a heavily fought contest. To apply contestants have to tell Google what they would do if they had ‘Glass’ via Twitter or Google+ in 50 words or less. Accompanied with #ifihadglass, people can also add images and a 15 second video, and must be 18 years of age also living in the US. This competition is closing on 27th February, for everyone else; we will just have to wait.
