Apple’s new operating system iOS 7 goes live!
Taking you back to June when Apple had the companies annual developers conference, where chief executive Tim Cook announced that customers could expect the “biggest change to iOS since the iPhone” as a whole new operating system was on the horizon. Well last night Apple launched its brand new iOS 7 creating an overhaul which led to masses of customers around the world queuing for up to hours for the download to complete.
The renovation, which will come preloaded into all new iPhone 5S and 5C devices offers a fresh and rejuvenate way of using the products, which had became somewhat tiresome over the past few years. The major changes include a redesigned interface, which has clearly looked for a new visionary style to the icon’s and clearer text writing. That change has occurred; however there has been a split (which was inevitable) with regards to whether or not this has improved the devices or not. Many critics of the update believe that it appears a little to ‘cartoon’ like and resembles Apples biggest rivals Android and Windows devices a bit too much. However in contrast to that, many feel that the new system offers a more free flowing and robust features, previously not achieved with the old system.
It is going to take much longer than a day to really appreciate the full functionality of the new iOS 7 operating system, so therefore not to many assumptions can be made as of yet. However from an initial test drive, it really doesn’t appear to offer any more unique features, which improve the users experience with the devices’, making you question does it really live up to the hype it generated in the build up to the release?
