Youth IM app Jongla launches ‘Jongla 2.0’

Presskit material w background new myprofileJongla, the fast, fun and free instant messaging app aimed at the youth market, today announces a complete revamp of its current iOS and Android apps. The all-new Jongla 2.0 brings with it new social profiles for users to personalise Jongla even further, and the ability to add filter and other effects to photos before sharing with contacts. Jongla’s new user interface is beautifully designed and communicating with contacts has been simplified to make it the must-have messaging app.

Users are now able to create their own personal social profiles. Like other social profiles, users will be able to choose their own username, profile and cover photos, and share their public profiles with their Facebook and Twitter friends. Thanks to totally new Jongla user search, users can now find their friends easily with their Jongla usernames. This means that Jongla is not tied down to syncing only with friends who users have contact numbers for.

For users who like to add a new dimension to the photos they share with friends, Jongla’s photo filtering effects will be a firm favourite. Once a photo has been taken, users can select their choice of filter and effect and apply to the image before sharing.

Jongla 2.0 is available to download for free from the App Store and Google Play.
