#MUSTARDPRFifa14

The World Cup is just around the corner and everyone is starting to reach that deluded stage where they’ve listened to ‘Three Lions’ one to many times and are now thinking England can win it – we’re guilty as well.

Anyway, what better way to capitalise on that excitement and optimism than to have another MUSTARD PR Fifa 14 night and this time it was bigger and better than ever!

Never afraid of some stern competition and a belly full of beer, 50 of the UK’s top media including the likes of The Sun, BBC, The Mirror, GQ, Huff Post and Recombu, just to name a few, battled it out for bragging rights and some top prizes thanks to the support of our sponsors Vibe Audio, Philips, Melodigram and Wuaki.tv

The tournament took place on Thursday (22/05) at Riley’s Sports Bar in Haymarket, providing the perfect venue for what was to be a brilliant night. Out of the 50, 43 entered into a straight knock out tournament which was played over 4 screens and with the beer and food flowing we were underway. The night saw a few upsets, most notably former champion Andy Halls getting annihilated by James Robertson, however he also managed to fall short as reigning champion Lee Stobbs from GQ took on Sport Magazine’s Mark Coughlan in the final.

Philips 100”Screeneo projector played host to the key battle of the evening which was hard fought, however eventually saw Sport Magazine’s Mark Coughlan stand victorious.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who attended and also another big thank you to our sponsors for making the night possible.
